The owners Suso and Maria are very hard working and diligent and it really shows in the food and the welcome they provide. I am salivating here thinking thinking of their wonderful Marisco. This is always good in Spain but here in Galicia everything seems bigger and I can honestly say that I haven’t eaten better Marisco anywhere else in Spain than in A Parada das Bestas. Usually it is followed by wonderful steak and I’m fit to explode by the time I have had desert! I must add that they are very accommodating with children as well. Apart from the food the location is excellent for those wanting to get away from it all. Tranquil with lovely walks, (great to help the digestion), fishing and other country pursuits. I would recommend the place for romantic weekends or as a base to explore the surrounding area. They have chalets which are great for families and a swimming pool to cool off in when the weather gets hot.

]]> Por: ARRATETZU https://gastronomiaenverso.es/a-parada-das-bestas/#comment-89 Sat, 28 Feb 2009 20:06:00 +0000 https://gastronomiaenverso.es/?p=492#comment-89 Nosotros hemos estado desde su inauguración hace ya…. no sé un porrón de años y cada año mejora, ahora tienen unos apartamentos que las habitaciones de la cas están genial pero estos te dan más privacidad y son preziosos. han puesto una pedazo de piscina y la comid es alucinante … eso sí prepararos para coger unos kilitos con las comidas de maria que aunque sanisimas es lo que hay y prepararos para unas buenas risas con suso y unos revolcones con los alobos (los perros) que son ideles como todo ena parada… os lo dicen de buena tinta unos bilbainos que les quieren mucho…
